25th Anniversary World Irish Dancing Championships Senior Ladies

Look, Jean Butler placed 6th, her sister Cara (wearing that gorgeous dress) 11th, and Sorcha McCaul who will later be the female lead of the troupe in Dancing on Dangerous ground, Jean and Colin Dunne’s show, is 3rd.

And I’m sure many of you can recognize your TCs in this vid, or this one (25th World Irish Dance Championship Ladies 17-19 years)

That’s the reason why Irish dancers keep their hands down!

But this dress is so beautiful! (This is Cara Butler, Jean’s sister)

Isn’t this dress beautiful? I wrote that before - it looks like a delicious chocolate cake with cream flowers and orange jelly, wrapped in copper foil. So tasty!
